Our Angus

What is the difference between
Angus and Wagyu beef?

Both show similar characteristics and both are distinguished by their high amounts of marbling. The Angus is however, derived from one breed of cow while the wagyu can be produced from a wider variety of beefs. Angus cattle contain marble like texture but with a high meat-to-bone ratio, making the beef cattle very profitable.

The Angus breed can be found all over South Africa, however they are well represented in the Free State, KZN and the Western Cape of South Africa.

Angus beef contains over 11+ different cuts ranging from chuck, sirloin, ribs, short loin and shanks. No growth promoters are administered making our beef naturally filled with organic and natural juices. Our eID electronic Identification system allows us to select only the top class cattle to deliver to our consumers. All the Angus beef goes through an aging process to soften up the muscle fibre and increase overall quality.
